About Me
My name is Isabella and I am a creative soul, devout bookworm, lover of travel and coffee, and last but not least, a devoted nerd. Native Texan and now a proud Coloradan, my husband Caleb and I are living the Downtown Denver dream as he pursues art and I pursue writing. I started this venture in February of 2023, and so far I've written a variety of short stories and am working on what I hope to be a couple potential books.
I'm very new to the world of writing with the intent of publishing, of bearing my soul to the world, but I have always been a writer. Though my background in psychology and payroll put me off this journey for a number of years, I can proudly say now that I have returned, and that I am coming into my own doing the thing I love the most.
Through this blog, I hope to share my personal reflections through regular blog updates, as well as my favorite things in the world of books, movies and shows, etc. - whatever I’m currently inspired by. My long term goal is to start sharing my stories with the world, and to eventually make a name for myself out there in the creative realm. Until then, I’d like to say thanks for reading, and I hope to see you at many future book signings.

More About Me
I love to travel, and it’s my dream to see all of the national parks in the U.S. I also got to take my first international trip to Scotland and it’s probably the highlight of my life so far. I can’t wait to retire on The Isle of Skye!
I absolutely LOVE coffee! My favorite weekly pastime is to go to my local coffee shop to sip lattes while I journal, read a book, or write and edit my stories.
My husband is my best friend and my biggest fan. We’ve been together for over 10 years - together since 2013, officially married since 2021 - and when we’re not busy laughing until we cry, we’re pursuing our dreams together.
We’re currently settling into our new lives in Denver, Colorado. Loving it so far! Such a great city, with so much community and character. We are enjoying the downtown life as well as the surrounding towns and the nature beyond.
When I’m not reading or writing, I like listening to music, and playing board and video games - especially Baldur’s Gate 3. I also love puzzles and I’ve also dabbled in art over the years. Art class was where Caleb and I connected back in high school and even though I just doodle when I feel like it now, it’s still an important part of my life as well as our story!
