I’m Happy for You
***Disclaimer: I got this idea from Pinterest, an exercise where you write a 20 word sentence, then a 19 word sentence, and so on, ending the story with one word.***

It’s amazing how humanity can simultaneously care about complex and simple issues, and also manage to be selfish and selfless.
We believe everything we say is important or profound, when it’s better to think instead of saying things sometimes.
But I think despite this, the best things we say are the little things to those we love.
It’s the things that make your world go round that are worth sharing with the right people.
These people know you better than anyone, and don’t ask you to be anyone besides you.
What is considered gibberish to a passerby is something you can’t wait to tell someone.
These things are unique to you and to the ones you share them with.
Whether a stranger cares or not, you do, and I’m happy for you.
For I know that feeling, and I’m grateful to have it too.
Someone I come home to and bore with my ordinary day.
Someone that loves hearing my ridiculous ramblings, finding them endearing.
We all need that in our lives, I think.
A companion in this crazy thing called life.
It stirs admiration and annoyance in me.
To that I say: Do you.
Who cares what I think?
You shouldn’t, I shouldn’t.
Just be happy.
Love deeply.
Abundantly.
